The Masked Dancer is on its third episode! Initially, a spoof segment on The Ellen DeGeneres Showthe masked dancing competition is now a full show complete with back-up dancers and a superstar panel (Masked franchise stalwart Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, and Ashley Tisdale).

After saying goodbye to Bill Nye last week, the remaining Group B performers (Sloth, Zebra, Cotton Candy, and Moth) returned to The Masked Dancer stage. This time, only three of them would be able to advance to the show’s first Super Six round. Which performer was forced to join the Science Guy and Ice-T in the eliminated club? Did the panel correctly deduce the eliminated celebrity’s identity? Read on to find out!

Tonight, Ken Jeong’s colleague from I Can See Your Voice, Cheryl Hines, joined the panel. After Cheryl joined the panel, the Zebra dropped his pre-performance package. This Zebra is a Z-E-O (CEO) and revealed that his childhood was surrounded by poverty and crime. Once the panel briefed Cheryl about his last week’s clues (a medal), the Zebra took the stage for a duet to K-Ci & JoJo’s “All My Life.” I loved his rumba meets freestyle dance, and he put a smile on my face.

Cheryl was impressed by the performance and called it “very entertaining.” Paula Abdul also pointed out that the Zebra moved like a boxer. In this week’s edition of “Word Up,” Zebra stated: “Champion.” Paula Abdul guessed Floyd Mayweather. Meanwhile, Ashley Tisdale suggested Mario Lopez. Finally, Brian Austin Green thought Zebra was Thiago Santos.

Cotton Candy, who suffered from a fall before performing during premiere week, was the next dancer. She was iced out from her kids her age. Tonight, she performed Lady Gaga and Blackpink’s “Sour Candy” with a plethora of dancers. She reminded me of Julianne Hough because of her personality. Cheryl was left speechless and predicted that she was a professional athlete.

Meanwhile, Ashley thought Cotton Candy was an ice dancer or athlete. In her “Word Up” segment, she mentioned that she was a “team player.” Paula thought that Cotton Candy was Jenna Dewan. Both Ashley and Cheryl thought it was legendary ice skater Tara Lipinski. Brian Austin Green ended the round by predicting Kristi Yamaguchi.

Miss Moth’s pre-performance package was TEDxTalk-themed. There was a photo of Queen Elizabeth and a video of Salt Bae as well. She danced to Michael Buble’s version of “Sway.” While I liked the performance, I felt like Miss Moth’s partner stole the show at times. Miss Moth’s “Word Up” clue was “Bestseller.” Ken thought it was Karlie Kloss because of her connection with the White House. Cheryl stated that she was not a professional dancer but thought it was either Omarosa or Megyn Kelly. Brian Austin Green suggested Elizabeth Smart. Paula ended the guessing round by implying that either Elisabeth Hasselbeck or Kathy Griffin was Miss Moth.

The Sloth was the final dancer of the evening. In his pre-performance package, there were soccer balls, a boombox, and skydived. He danced to Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes’ “Up Where We Belong,” and it had the perfect combination of humor and elegance that made me laugh and gave me chills simultaneously. Ken called him — the frontrunner and “one to beat.” For his “Word Up” clue, the Sloth stated: “Leading Man.” Ken thought it was Jonathan Groff. Cheryl thought Sloth was Keegan-Michael Key, and Ashley Tisdale suggested that Sloth was Will Ferrell.

Once the panel and the Masked Dancer superfans voted, host Craig Robinson revealed that MISS MOTH was eliminated tonight! The panel made their final guesses. Brian stood by his guess of Elizabeth Smart and Ashley suggested it was Jewel. Cheryl stood by her guess of Megyn Kelly and Ken thought it was Karlie Kloss. Paula finished the round by guessing Kathy Griffin.

BRIAN WAS RIGHT! MISS MOTH WAS REVEALED TO BE ElIZABETH SMART!
