Jake’s Take’s Podcast-Episode 10: Tommy Bracco Visits

It is a pleasure to welcome actor, dancer, singer, and Big Brother 21 houseguest Tommy Bracco to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. 

Before Tommy received a housekey to the Big Brother house, he worked his way onto Broadway. He auditioned for and originated the part of Spot Conlon in Newsies. During his Broadway run at the Nederlander Theatre, Tommy Bracco worked with Jeremy Jordan, Kara Lindsey, John Dossett, and Andrew Keenan-Bolger. 

Following Newsies, Tommy auditioned and joined the cast of Pretty Woman: The Musical as Giulio. He followed the show from its Chicago tryout to Broadway back at the Nederlander Theatre. During his run on Pretty Woman: The Musical, he worked with Samantha Barks, Andy Karl, Orfeh, and Eric Anderson. 

However, Tommy Bracco had to cut his time on Pretty Woman: The Musical short when he received the opportunity to compete on his favorite show: Big Brother. After the Long Island native faced the press and met host Julie Chen Moonves, he had to rethink his gameplay. A face from his past, Christie Murphy, walked into the Big Brother house, which shocked the Broadway star to the core. While he served as quiet leader of the Gr8ful alliance, Tommy was a part of the Six Shooters alliance with Christie, Jack Matthews, Analyse Talavera, and his season’s Final Two Houseguests: Jackson Michie and Holly Allen. Throughout the time in the house, he won a Head of Household (HOH) and two Vetos.

Sadly, Tommy Bracco’s luck turned for the worst on Day 44, when the Six Shooters broke up. Eventually, a majority of his allies, including Christie (on Double Eviction night), were evicted. On Day 86, Tommy was finally eliminated from the competition. While he voted for Jackson to win the season, fans rallied and named him Cliff Hogg III, and Nicole Anthony-the three finalists deserving of prestigious America’s Favorite Houseguest award.
