The Born This Way Ball takes KC by storm

12,000 people packed into the Sprint Center to experience the magic of Lady Gaga.

Since her debut in 2007, Lady Gaga has become one of the biggest stars on the planet, won numerous awards including five Grammys and countless MTV Video Music Awards plus has released three superb albums including The Fame, The Fame Monster and Born this Way.

In addition, she has also gained a massive fanbase (Little Monsters), which were out in force last night.

After intriguing performances from opening acts: mentor Lady Starlight and rising DJ Madeon, Gaga took to the stage around 8:50 p.m. to officially welcome her fans to the Born This Way Ball.

For Little Monsters, who were unable to see their Mother Monster in action, rest assure that she still sounds the same as her recordings.   In addition, she actually hit a mean high note that astounded the crowd.  Gaga also showed that she could rock out with any instrument including the piano (“You and I”) and electric guitar (“Electric Chapel”).

Throughout the show, Gaga showcased her signature outlandish outfits that included a pink origami-like dress (“Fashion of His Love”) and a meat dress (“Americano” and “Poker Face”).  In addition, fans got to see some of her classic outfits that made cameos throughout “Fashion of His Love.”

What made the Born This Way Ball an incredible experience was the incredible choreography that was designed by Gaga’s Visual Director/Choreographer Richard Jackson.    Lady Gaga and the dancers wowed the crowd with their amazing routines that featured fan-favorite hits like “Poker Face,” “Judas” and “LoveGame.”

Overall, this concert was an amazing concert experience that showcased why Lady Gaga is a positive role model and an unstoppable force in the entertainment business.  A
