Once Upon A Time in Wonderland fans got a treat as Robin Hood guest starred in tonight’s episode!
Wait a minute…Robin Hood? Doesn’t he belong in Once Upon A Time’s Enchanted Forest?  Well…he does,,,but Robin Hood had a surprising connection to one of the Wonderland residents: the Knave of Hearts!

So how did the Enchanted Forest’s greatest protector meet up with Wonderland’s ultimate bad boy?  Read on to find out…

It turned out that the Knave of Hearts (real name: Will Scarlet) was once one of Robin Hood’s Merry Men in the Enchanted Forest.  After earning his trust, Will decided to aim higher and advised Robin Hood and his gang to go after gold located a palace located on top of the highest mountains.  Robin Hood was against it because it belonged to a powerful and vile sorceress.  However, after the Knave stated that they would only go after the gold, Robin and his crew ventured to this palace.

However, Robin Hood missed out on two simple facts.  Item number one: the castle belonged to Maleficent (voiced once again by Kristin Bauer van Straten) and item number two: the Knave secretly double-crossed them and stole an item for his beloved Anastasia.

Once the crew arrived back at their campsite.  Maleficent sent a message saying that they could keep the gold but turn over the stolen item.  Furiously, Robin Hood demanded to know who took it.  Eventually, he confronted Will and the once-and-future Knave revealed the truth.   After arriving at hid cottage, the viewers learned the identity of Anastasia:  the Red Queen.   Will and Anastasia used Maleficent’s looking glass to begin their voyage to Wonderland.

Fast forward to the present day, Will is now traveling with Alice and Anastasia is allies with Jafar.  The Red Queen and Jafar plotted to make Alice use one of the three wishes that Cyrus gave her.  The Red Queen decided to send one of Alice’s greatest enemies into the field: the deadly Bandersnatch…. a suggestion of the prisoned Cyrus.

The lethal creature tracked Alice and the Knave down at the hone of the monstrous Grendel.  Using their quick thinking, the Knave destroyed the Bandersnatch and saved the Grendel’s life.  For saving his life, the Grendel gave them a magical object called the Forget-Me-Knot, which allowed Alice and the Knave to learn who took Cyrus’s bottle.

After they left, Jafar and the Red Queen arrived at the Grendel’s house seeking answers. Jafar and the Red Queen stated that they could help him reunite with his deceased wife.  The Grendel revealed that Alice was alive but did not kill the Bandersnatch…it was the Knave.  As the Red Queen glared angrily, Jafar killed the Grendel.

While Jafar and the Red Queen reflected on the latest turn-of-events, Alice and Cyrus use the Forget-Me-Knot to reveal that the White Rabbit betrayed them and delivered Cyrus’s bottle to the Red Queen.   After seeing his beloved in the Forget-Me-Knot, the Knave burned the magical object.

In two weeks, Jafar and the Red Queen close in on Alice and the Knave! Will one of them be forced to sacrifice their life to save Cyrus?
