Ladies and gentlemen! Meet your Masked Dancer Super Six!

Tonight, the show’s six dancers (Cotton Candy, Exotic Bird, Hammerhead, Sloth, Tulip, and Zebra) faced off to remain in the competition. Which Masked Dancer delivered a spectacular performance? Who was forced to join Bill Nye, Brian McKnight, and Elizabeth Smart in the eliminated club?  Did any of the panel (Ken Jeong, Paula Abdul, Brian Austin Green, and Ashley Tisdale) correctly deduce the eliminated performer’s identity? Read on to find out!

As actress-comedian Whitney Cummings joined the Masked Dancer panel, Cotton Candy made her way to the stage. She emerged as a front runner after her impeccable performances and her super clue was five gold balloons. Cotton Candy danced to Jerry Lee Lewis’ “Great Balls of Fire” and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. I think Ms. Cotton Candy is former AGT and Dancing with the Stars judge Julianne Hough. Ken stated that Cotton Candy “defined” what The Masked Dancer is. Ashley Tisdale guessed Olympic legend Tara Lipinski, while Ken thought it was Jennifer Lopez. Whitney Cummings guessed Gabi Butler from Cheer, but Paula thought it was Simone Biles.

The Exotic Bird was the second performer of the night. Her super clue was a rose tattoo. She danced to Lewis Capaldi and Jessie Reyez’s “Rush.” It was a superb contemporary routine that featured a solid solo. Whitney called the performance “emotional,” and both Paula and Brian praised her for her growth. Ashley Tisdale thought Exotic Bird was Kat von D. Brian Austin Green guessed that Exotic Bird was model Ashley Graham.

The Sloth was the third Masked Dancer to take the stage. He was excited for his family to see him perform. His super clue was the number 18. Tonight, he continued to impress the audience with an impressive routine that put a smile on my face. Whitney praised the Sloth’s stage presence, and Paula loved his Broadway moves. Ken Jeong thought it was his fellow Hangover co-star Bradley Cooper. Meanwhile, Brian guessed John C. Reilly. Ashley thought it was Sasha Baron Cohen.

Hammerhead stated that he did not want to go home. Tonight, he performed the Paso Doble, and the clues were pointed to a map of New Jersey and suntan lotion (maybe a Jersey Shore cast member). The Paso was one of my favorite Masked Dancer performances of the season. Whitney stated that there was a lot of grit on the stage. Ken predicted it was Pauly D. Meanwhile, Paula guessed YouTube personality David Dobrik, and she also thought of Jersey Shore’s Vinny.

Tulip Mask’s super clue involved a mother-daughter dance. She danced to Ariana Grande’s “Thank u, next.” There were many social media references in her post, including a “Masked” version of Instagram. Paula complemented Tulip on her ballet skills. Ken thought Tulip was Sarah Hyland. Meanwhile, Brian stood by his guess of Simone Biles. Whitney Cummings thought it was Julianne Hough.

Zebra Mask was the last Masked Dancer to perform in the Super Six round. The front runner received a “K.O.” t-shirt for his super clue. The Zebra is one of my favorite performers of the season, and he delivered a knockout performance of the season. Whitney guessed L.L. Cool J and Brian praised Zebra’s footwork and guessed legendary boxer, Oscar De La Hoya. Paula still thought it was Floyd Mayweather.

After the panel and superfans voted, host Craig Robinson revealed that Hammerhead would be departing the show tonight! Both Ken and Whitney Cummings’ final guesses were DJ Pauly D. Meanwhile, Ashley thought it was Kevin Hart. Brian stood by his guess of The Situation, while Paula thought it was David Dobrik.

Paula was right again, HAMMERHEAD was JERSEY SHORE’s VINNY!

Next week, the Masked Dancer Final Five faces off!
