Jake’s Take Podcast – Actress & Screenwriter Chloe Traicos

It is a pleasure to welcome actress and screenwriter Chloe Traicos as the second 2022 guest for The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. 

Chloe was born and raised in Zimbabwe. Her father is international cricket star, John Traicos, and her mother, Annette Kileff – an artist. She lived in Zimbabwe until 2005, when she was forced to flee the country with her family to Australia after releasing a documentary called A Stranger In My Homeland. In the award-winning documentary, Chloe criticized the country’s then-President Robert Mugabe and his administration for starving and persecuting the Zimbabwean people.

After immigrating to Australia, Chloe Traicos made the award-winning Indie film: I Wish I Were Stephanie V, which opened the New York City International Film Festival in 2011. Since then, she moved to the United States to continue to pursue her career in the entertainment industry.

In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar PodcastChloe Traicos spoke about overcoming the challenges she faced breaking into the entertainment industry and her latest film: Introducing Jodea. Chloe also talked about reprising her role as Gloria Freeman in the popular HBO dramedy The Righteous Gemstones.
