Welcome to week three of America’s Got Talent (AGT): Season 17 Live Shows! A new set of 11 hopefuls performed on the Pasadena Civic Center stage tonight. Which performers had a shot at making in this week’s Top Five and potentially make it into the season finale? Did any performers receive the dreaded buzzer from the judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum)? Read on to find out!

MPLUSPLUS blew me away during their first audition. However, Terry revealed that their beloved technology broke down 24 hours before the Live Shows aired. The dance crew performed a routine to Coldplay’s “Higher Power.” I got chills from their performance! This is a Vegas show! A+

Jojo and Bri were one of my favorite auditions this season! Tonight was Jojo’s second chance to perform in front of America as part of Resound. I was impressed that they used FaceTime to rehearse for their big moment. I loved that they performed Des’ree’s “You Got Be,” and I loved their harmonies. Whether they go to the finale or not, this duo is destined for stardom. A-

I will be honest; I do not know how the Cline Twins made it into this round. The Waterloo, Canada natives routine bored me, and I would have buzzed them.

What I admire about Amanda Mammana is her determination to perform despite having a stutter. Yes, she has a fabulous voice, but can she hold her own on the AGT: Las Vegas stage? I am honestly not sure after the lackluster performance.

XOMG! Pop definitely has the brightest costumes in show history. But I am looking at their act as a potential touring act, not a Vegas headliner. I believe that Jojo Siwa needs to perform with them even to be considered a Vegas headliner.

Paris, France native Nicolas Ribs is one of the gifted magicians I have seen audition this season. I loved that Nicolas used a combination of technology, animation, and magic for an epic presentation. I loved it! This was a Vegas-worthy and show-winning worthy performance! A+

I am so proud of Mia Morris for making it to the AGT live shows! Ever since I interviewed her back in November 2021, I genuinely believed that Mia is one of the best performers of her generation. I was thrilled that she decided to perform “We Were Never Friends.” It showcased her artistry. I hope to see her in the finale! A

Hayden Kristal has shown us their hard-of-hearing has not pumped the breaks on her dream of stand-up comedy. Their set focused on her dogs, and they made me laugh throughout the performance. I predict big things for them whether they win AGT or not.  B+

Celia Muñoz delivered one of the best performances of the live shows! She did a wonderful tribute to Olivia Newton-John with “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” and I believe she could join Terry Fator, Paul Zerdin, and Darci Lynne Farmer in the winner’s circle! A+

Funkanometry bored me! The performance did not feel like Las Vegas; it belonged in a theme park, not Las Vegas!

Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act, Sara James, closed out the show. The Poland native received a retweet from Billie Eilish and was worried that she could be on the chopping block after Maddie went home last week. She tackled “Rocket Man” tonight, and I am in two minds about this. Sara has a strong voice and will have a great career after this show, but I think she robbed Britney Spears of her comeback moment as she re-recorded one of Elton’s most significant songs with the Piano Man, and it was very screechy. I wish that Celia had closed the show.

Tomorrow night, two more acts advance to the finale as Kodi Lee, Teddy Swims, and Neal Schon will provide the entertainment!
