There are no words to describe how excited I am to welcome actor and comedian Howie Mandel to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

For over 30 years, Howie has remained a constant force in the entertainment industry. From his work on the Emmy-winning series St. Elsewhere to the internationally renowned animated series Bobby’s World, he has become a mainstay in the American comedy arena.  In addition, Howie Mandel received both Daytime and Primetime Emmy nominations for his work as host of the popular game show: Deal or No Deal. He was also named a New York Times bestselling author when he released his 2009 frank, funny and no-holds-barred memoir Here’s the Deal: Don’t Touch Me.

More recently, he executive produced the Quibi series Kirby Jenner and in 2019, he released his first solo comedy special in 20 years: Howie Mandel Presents Howie Mandel at the Howie Mandel Comedy Club. He co-hosts Nat Geo Wild’s Animals with his son Alex. In 2021, he launched his podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff, which he co-hosts with his daughter, Jackelyn Schultz. Episodes of the podcast drop every Tuesday and are available on all platforms.

Since 2010, Howie Mandel has been a judge on America’s Got Talent. He judged 12 seasons of the main series and two seasons of its spin-off: America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Starting March 23, Howie will return to Canada and join fellow judges Kardinal Offishall, Lilly Singh, and Trish Stratus along with host Lindsay Eli on finding the best Canadian talent on the sophomore season of Canada’s Got Talent (CGT).

In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Howie talked about the upcoming season of Canada’s Got Talent and compared the acts to what he normally sees on its American counterpart.

Canada’s Got Talent will premiere on March 22 on CityTv!
