I love America’s Got Talent (AGT), but when I looked at this week’s line-up, I felt disappointed. This week, there are only a few acts that I consider Vegas-ready. Which acts proved me wrong? Who could potentially soar to this week’s Top Five? Did any of the judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum) press their buzzers? Read on to find out!

After Terry tried to dance, New Zealand tap dancer Bayley Graham was the first to face America. Bayley danced to Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You.” He is a strong performer, but Bayley needed to have more tap dancers performing with him this round.

ACAPOP was the second act of the evening. This A cappella group tackled an anthem that showcased fearlessness. Sadly, I felt like I was watching a talent show at my high school. There were some solid singers, but they did not blend! What a waste of a spot!

Dancing magician Jannick Holste traveled to AGT from Germany to perform in front of Heidi Klum. He performed a routine to Ariana Grande and Zedd’s “Break Free.” I am happy that Jannick stepped up his performance with more dancers and impressive tricks. B+

UK-based singer Lee Collinson traveled to America to pursue a career in the recording industry. Tonight, he tackled Lauren Spencer Smith’s “Flowers.” While I was unfamiliar with the song, Lee is a superb storyteller, and despite the swear word bleeped, I enjoyed the performance. B+

I have been waiting for Jack Williams to compete on the live shows. This ventriloquist has a massive social media following, and tonight, he introduced Dale. I am so happy that he brought Foster back into the routine. Jack made me laugh and smile with his performance. A-

Metaphysic uses artificial intelligence to create more entertainment options. While I found the performance creative, I wished that the men behind this act used other performers in AGT history than that pompous tool Daniel Emmet. What an awful performance!

The Lazy Generation is a group of “professional idiots” that traveled from the UK to compete. Tonight, they delivered a spectacular routine that made me laugh so hard!

Merissa Beddows performed tonight and impersonated the vocalists that inspired her to sing. She started with “O Mio Babbino Caro” before switching to Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now,” Cher’s “If I Can Turn Back Time,” and Lois Griffin performing the Family Guy theme song before jumping back to “O Mio Babbino Caro.” I loved it! A-

Honestly, I would rather have had the Growler Choir on the show than Harper. I thought her interpretation of Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” was worthy of a buzzer.

Baltimore, Maryland comedian Mike E. Winfield made me laugh at this audition. He presented Unrated and Unrecognizable tonight, and I loved that he continued the story from his audition. Mike spoke about his woes with his lover and “stepman.” I loved the double bread sandwich joke and switching a $65 Victoria’s Secret bra with two purchases from JCPenny! His material saved the night, and I hope he is in the finale!

Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer, Lily Meola, closed out an uncanny night on AGT. Tonight, she sang an original song: “Butterfly.” I was not a fan of the music, and I wished she performed a cover that would move the audience, like Jennifer Nettles’ version of “You Will Be Found” or Christina Aguilera’s “Light Up The Sky.” Also, there were some pitch issues with the performance.

Tomorrow night, Piff the Magic Dragon and the cast of Riverdance will provide the entertainment as two more acts will advance to the next round!
