Ken Jeong had another Community cast member join him on The Masked Singer. Actress and pop culture fanatic Yvette Nicole Brown. She joined just in the time for the Smackdowns. The Smackdowns were introduced last season, the two losing finalists will face-off. One will remain in the competition; the other will be forced to unmask.

Which Masked Singer performers faced off? Which celebrities impressed Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken, and the remaining panelists (Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, and Jenny McCarthy)? Who was forced to join Drew Carey, Rob Gronkowski, JoJo Siwa, and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin in the eliminated club? Read in to find out!

The first Masked Singer: Season Three smackdown of the night belonged to the Night Angel and the Kangaroo. The Night Angel sang Shania Twain’s “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” As Yvette Nicole Brown and Ken danced, I noticed that the Night Angel’s voice belonged to Celebrity Big Brother 2 houseguest and Real Housewives mainstay Kandi Burress. The Night Angel’s latest clues suitcase. They were a tiara and a tag that said: “The Bag is Mine.” Kandi wrote “The Boy is Mine” for both Brandy and Monica. The panel guessed Keke Palmer, Taraji P. Henson, and Vanessa Williams.

The Kangaroo countered with Jordin Sparks’ “No Air.” It was a good performance, but I could tell that she picked a tough song to perform. Ken called the Kangaroo his “sentimental favorite.” The Masked Singer brought out another suitcase, and it included red lipstick, while the Kangaroo stated that this was the first time she sang in front of anyone. The panel guessed LaLa Anthony, Keira Knightley, Blac Chyna, and Ayesha Curry (Yvette Nicole Brown’s guess).

The panel and the Masked Singer audience voted for the Night Angel to perform in the Top Six. That left the Kangaroo in danger from being eliminated. Up next, the Astronaut versus the Turtle (or as I earlier deduced Hunter Hayes versus Jesse McCartney). The Astronaut sang Shawn Mendes’ “If I Can’t Have You,” and immediately, I knew it was the “I Want Crazy” singer-songwriter. I loved seeing the Alien again, and Yvette Nicole Brown on her feet. The Astronaut’s bag contained an accordion, the White House, and the light bulb. The panel guessed Ben Platt, Seth Green, and Austin Mahone.

The Turtle countered with James Bay’s “Let It Go.” It was his emotional performance to date. There were no backup dancers, only Turtle on the stage. I got chills from the performance, and I think this “Leavin’” performer could be in the Final Three. The Turtle’s bag contained “Never Keep Open This Bag” tag, a baseball glove, and cologne. The panel guessed Adam Lambert, Joey McIntyre (Yvette Nicole Brown’s guess), and Niall Horan.

The Turtle made it to the Top Six, while the Astronaut had to face off against the Kangaroo to survive. After the duo made their entrances, it was time for the throwdown to begin. Kangaroo sang Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff,” and she made Yvette Nicole Brown dance in her seat. Astronaut sang *NSYNC’s “Bye, Bye, Bye” and I got chills. After the results were read, we had to say goodbye to the Kangaroo!

The panels’ final guesses were Cat Deeley (Ken Jeong), LaLa Anthony (Robin Thicke), Blac Chyna (Nicole Scherzinger), Jordyn Woods (JENNY got it right!!), and Ayesha Curry (Yvette Nicole Brown). Once again, Jenny got it right…JORDYN WOODS was the Kangaroo!

Next week, the second set of Masked Singers perform for survival!
