You might want to take multiple trips to the cinema this year!

Here are some films that you might want to consider seeing on the Silver Screen:

The Lego Movie (February 7, 2014)

Legos will be taking over the big screen as Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt) must team up with Vitruvius (Morgan Freeman), Batman (Will Arnett) & Wyldstyle (Elizabeth Banks) to save all of the Lego Universe from the evil Lord Business (Will Ferrell).  Channing Tatum, Nick Offerman, Allison Brie and Liam Neeson also lend their voices to the film.

The Monuments Men (February 7, 2014)

Also out on the same weekend is The Monuments Men. The World War II dramedy focuses on George L. Stout (George Clooney) and how his team must race against the clock to save artwork from the Nazis.  Matt Damon, Bill Murray, John Goodman, Jean Dujardin and Cate Blanchett round out this star-studded cast.

Muppets Most Wanted

Muppets Most Wanted (March 21, 2014)

Muppets return to the Silver Screen as Kermit the Frog is replaced by a wicked doppelgänger and teams up with Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais) to ruin the group’s reputation.  Can Walter and the other Muppets rescue Kermit before it’s too late? Tina Fey, Ty Burrell and a cast of thousands join the Muppets for a hysterical ride.

Captain America: The Winter Solider (April 4, 2014)

Captain America (Chris Evans) returns for a second solo tour of duty! This time, he must deal with the threat of the Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan).  The Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and new partner Falcon (Anthony Mackie) are slated to help out Steve Rogers while Cobie Smulders, Hayley Atwell and Samuel L. Jackson will reprise their roles as Maria Hill, Peggy Carter and Nick Fury respectively.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (May 2, 2014)

Andrew Garfield returns as Peter Parker, the Amazing Spider-Man during the 2014 Free Comic Book Day.  Our friendly neighborhood superhero will continue to romance Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) while facing multiple threats including Electro (Jamie Foxx) and Rhino (Paul Giamatti).  Sally Field and Denis Leary will reprise their roles as Aunt May and Uncle Ben respectively.

Maleficent (May 30, 2014)

Disney’s Mistress of All Evil returns to the Silver Screen for the first time in 55 years. However, this go-around marks Maleficent’s first live-action adventure. Angelina Jolie will portray the titular role, while Ellie Fanning plays her arch-nemesis: Princess Aurora a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty.

Guardians of the Galaxy (August 1, 2014)

Marvel will take theater goers into deep space where jerky space pilot Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) must collaborate with four fellow space outlaws Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon and Groot (Portrayed by Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista; voiced by Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel respectfully) to stop the schemes of Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and the Collector (Benicio Del Toro).

This Is Where I Leave You (September 12, 2014)

The Foxman siblings (Jason Bateman, Adam Driver, Tina Fey & Corey Stoll) must return home and put their differences aside to sit Shiva for their deceased father.  Connie Britton, Jane Fonda and Timothy Olyphant are slated to round out the ensemble.

Into the Woods (December 25, 2014)

Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp lead an all-star cast in the big screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s beloved musical.  Among the actors that are participating in the film include Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, Tracy Ullman, Emily Blunt and Frances de la Tour.
