This is it!

The Masked Singer: Season Four finale is here! After seeing colorful characters such as The Snow Owls (Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black) and Popcorn (Taylor Dayne) to Lips (Wendy Williams) and Gremlin (Mickey Rourke), we are down to the final three.

Tonight, either the Sun, the Crocodile, or Mushroom will join Monster (T-Pain), Fox (Wayne Brady), and Night Angel (Kandi Burruss) in the winners’ circle? Who won the Golden Mask? Did the panel (Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg) correctly deduce the finalists’ identities? Read on to find out!

After Ken stole a costume from Nick, the Crocodile began the night’s festivities. He wowed everyone last week with “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.” Tonight, the Crocodile sang Journey’s “Open Arms.” I still believe that our pink crocodile is Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter! He delivered a phenomenal vocal performance that would make the “Don’t Stop Believin’” band proud. Robin called the version “outstanding,” while the Crocodile dedicated his performance to his family. The singer gave a gift (a plastic angel) to Jenny.

The Mushroom’s final performance of the season was his daughter’s favorite song: Stevie Wonder’s “I Wish.” For the entire season, I had been guessing either Leslie Odom, Jr. or Anthony Ramos. However, Entertainment Weekly may have helped me when they predicted that singer-songwriter Aloe Blacc was the fungi. Robin loved his unpredictability, while Jenny believed that the Mushroom was a producer. Mushroom’s gift was to Nicole Scherzinger, and it was a container of cookie dough ice cream.

The Sun was the final performer to sing for the Golden Mask. This industry veteran moved the panel last week with a cover of Billie Eilish’s “When The Party’s Over.” She dedicated her last song to her lover. She brilliantly covered Brandi Carlile’s “The Story,” and it was a fabulous vocal from start to finish. I am still standing by my guess of country music superstar LeAnn Rimes. Nicole praised the Sun Mask for inspiring the panel. Her Secret Santa gift (Mistletoe) was for Robin Thicke!

After the final vote of the season, it was time to reveal the results. In third place…The Crocodile! That meant either the Sun or Mushroom would win the trophy. The panel made their final guesses on the Crocodile’s true identity. Ken, who first predicted that Bradley Cooper was under the mask, decided to go with Nick Lachey. Nicole initially guessed Nick Lachey but changed her guess to Jordan Knight. Jordan was Robin Thicke’s first impression. However, the “Blurred Lines” singer changed to Backstreet Boys member Howie D. However, Jenny chose another Backstreet Boys member, Nick Carter, initially and stood by her final guess! Jenny was correct…NICK CARTER WAS THE CROCODILE MASK!

The Season Four Final Two (Mushroom and Sun) rejoined Nick on the stage. He announced that THE SUN WON SEASON FOUR and was the fourth recipient of the Golden Mask. This meant that Mushroom was our season’s runner-up. Jenny first guessed that Maxwell was behind the mask. She changed her guess to Ne-Yo. Ken’s first impression guess was Justin Timberlake, and decided to change it to Pharrell Williams. Nicole thought the Mushroom was Donald Glover initially, but she changed it to Aloe Blacc! Robin’s first guess was Billy Porter, but he joined Nicole in guessing Aloe Blacc. It turned out the panel’s vocalists were correct…ALOE BLACC WAS THE MUSHROOM!

Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg won the Golden Ear Award, but the evening’s big news was the Sun’s identity. The Golden Ear Award recipient initially thought Demi Lovato, but she changed it to LeAnn Rimes! Dr. Ken thought it was Gwyneth Paltrow but altered it to Mandy Moore. Nicole guessed Katharine McPhee Foster, but she joined Jenny in assuming that the Sun was LeAnn Rimes. Robin initially thought of Natasha Bedingfield but changed it to Katharine McPhee Foster. The ladies were right…THE SUN WAS LEANN RIMES!
