10. Daniel Rosa: “Somebody That I Used to Know”

One of the biggest comebacks in the early stages of the season belonged to Daniel Rosa.   Last season, the 21-year-old Riverside, California native failed to make a team but the singer did not give up on his dreams and triumphal returned to the show to try again to impress the coaches.   His cover of “Somebody That I Used to Know” impressed both Blake and Cee Lo plus he received a big hug from Adam.

9. Julio Cesar Castillo vs. Terisa Griffin: “Conga”

Team Blake’s Julio Cesar Castillo and Terisa Griffin delivered one of the best Battle Round performances of the season with their fiery cover of Gloria Estefan’s “Conga.” While Julio won this round, Terisa showed that she was force to be reckoned with as a future R&B diva-in-training.

8. Nicholas David: “You’re The First, The Last, My Everything”

Team Cee Lo’s resident funky soul man made his mentor and the late Barry White proud as he covered the disco classic that showed off his range and his versatility that catapulted him into the finals.

7. Cody Belew: “Crazy in Love”

The Beebe, Arkansas native showed off his strong vocals and showmanship during Top 10 week when he performed a cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love.”  I have a strong feeling that Cody to be the next coming of Prince or George Michael.

6. Melanie Martinez: “Hit the Road Jack”

Team Adam’s impeccable Melanie Martinez impressed the audience with her jazzy cover of the legendary Ray Charles’ monster hit: “Hit the Road Jack.”  This cover showcased her unique vocals and personality.

5. De’Borah: “Who Knew”

From the moment audience members met Chicago Heights native De’Borah, she became a fan-favorite because of her impressive vocals and bold personality.   Her cover of P!nk’s “Who Knew” was a pure delight to watch as she rocked the stage and gave one of the best performances of the night.

4. Cassadee Pope: “Over You”

It is very rare in any competition show that a contestant sings a song by a judge or their mentor because it could easily backfire.   However, when Cassadee Pope covered Miranda Lambert’s “Over You” that Blake co-penned with his wife, it was one of the best moments of the season and earned a standing ovation from her mentor, Cee Lo and Christina.

3. Sylvia Yacoub: “My Heart Will Go On”

Team Christina’s resident diva gave a powerful rendition of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” that will give viewers chills.

2. Avery Wilson vs. Chevonne: “Titanium”

The best Battle Round of this season belonged to Team Cee Lo’s Avery Wilson and Chevonne as they covered David Guetta and Sia’s “Titanium.” While Avery showed off his impressive vocals and dance skills, Chevonne inserted soul and showmanship during her section of the song that made this song very memorable.

The performance of the season belongs to Team Adam’s Amanda Brown as she surprised everyone with her rendition of Aerosmith’s signature song.   From the first notes to the final “Dream On” chorus, Amanda made her coach proud, Christina jealous and hopefully wowed Steven Tyler if he was watching the show.
