Tonight, The Voice will premiere its third season on NBC.

In the past two seasons, there have been some impeccable Blind Auditions, astonishing Battle Rounds and superb Live Show performances.

The Wichita native and his divalicious mentor delivered a solid cover of the famous Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion duet despite the fact that the multiple Grammy winner was under the weather that evening.   To relive this magic moment again, click here: http://youtu.be/AnYLCO1C6fg

8. Javier Colon, “Time After Time” (Season One-Blind Auditions)

Before Javier Colon was eventually declared the winner of the first season, he offered his unique interpretation of the Cyndi Lauper classic   Javier’s cover of this song made all four coaches turn around.  To find out who turned his chair around at the same time as Adam, click here: http://youtu.be/HcSKxCeRI3

7. Tony Vincent, “Sweet Dreams” (Season Two-Live Show Results)

One of the most unique features about the Live Shows are the last-minute save-me performances that contestants give in order to convince their coach that they deserve another chance in the competition.   Broadway veteran and rocker Tony Vincent delivered an intriguing cover of the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These).”  Tony showed off his stunning showmanship with this song and to see it again, click here: http://youtu.be/GUIr8dZLLos

6. Dia Frampton, “Losing My Religion” (Season One-Semifinals)

Every time Dia Frampton took the Voice stage, she delivered intriguing covers of popular but risky songs.   This time, she tacked alternative rockers R.E.M.’s 1991 hit.  The risk paid off as she was voted into the season one finale.   Dia’s enchanting cover of “Losing My Religion” was one of the best performances in the semifinals and received great comments from both Cee Lo and Christina: http://youtu.be/hLyI1Kt4qaM

5.  Kim Yarbrough, “Tell Me Something Good” (Season Two-Blind Auditions)

The best Blind Audition of season two belonged to R&B singer Kim Yarbrough.  From her powerful wail at the beginning of the Stevie Wonder-penned track to the epic decrescendo, this performance was the first step of Kim’s Voice journey.   While the Voice has taken down Kim’s Blind Audition video, you can still listen to the performance that made both Adam and Christina turn their chairs around: http://youtu.be/C4l2ngbqG7Q

Beverly McClellan the Voice Piece of My Heart

4. Beverly McClellan, “Piece of My Heart” (Season One-Blind Auditions)

If any future contestant wants to audition for the series, they might want to watch Beverly McClellan’s Blind Audition.   Her rendition of Janis Joplin’s classic “Piece of My Heart” successfully combined soul and fiery vocals that made both the Maroon 5 singer and “Genie in a Bottle” performer turn their chairs around.  To watch Team Christina’s season one finalist in action, click here: http://youtu.be/5Scmp6Pcq2Q

3. Dia Frampton and Blake Shelton, “I Won’t Back Down” (Season One-Finals)

The best contestant and coach duet of the series so far is Dia and Blake’s cover of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers’ “I Won’t Back Down.”   Dressed like the Blues Brothers, the duo took the Voice stage by storm and created one of the finale’s most memorable moments.   When Dia was the opening act for Blake’s tour earlier this year, they performed this song on many of their stops.  To see the original version, click here: http://youtu.be/xmgh00SR5hY

2. Anthony Evans and Jesse Campbell, “If I Ain’t Got You” (Season Two-Battle Rounds)

One of the most exciting stages of the show is the Battle Round.   Two singers duke it out vocally on the same song and at the end of the performance, the coaches must pick one singer to move forward and represent them in the Live Shows and one must be sent home.    Christina had a hard time last season after this explosive and dynamic vocal battle between Anthony Evans and Jesse Campbell.   This battle round still remains one of the show’s most memorable moments in season two: http://youtu.be/1Ibi3df2MzE

Juliet Simms Roxanne The Voice Season Two

Juliet Simms’s cover of “Roxanne” is the best performance from any season of “The Voice” so far. Season Three contestants have a lot to live up to. (Photo by NBC & Mark Burnett Productions).

1. Juliet Simms, “Roxanne” (Season One-Live Rounds Week Two)

“Roxanne” is one of the Police’s biggest hits and in the wrong hands of a bad vocalist it could be ripped to shreds vocally and ends up being a horrible listening experience.   However in the right hands of an astonishing performer like Juliet Simms, it could not only generate buzz but it can make the singer a standout that places them in the finals of their respective T.V. shows.    Not only did Juliet’s performance of this song received a standing ovation from the Judges, but it has been viewed over 1.5 million times on YouTube.  To watch this popular video, click here: http://youtu.be/BT8QpLBjJt4
