This is it!

The Final Five sang for their lives as The Voice had their Season Five Semi-Finals!

Who shined? Who fell flat? Read on to find out!

Each artist had one chance to impress America and after the Final Five performed “Best Day of My Life,” it was James Wolpert’s turn to kick off the show!

James took on a monster song: U2’s “With or Without You.” This was an interesting choice for a song because in the right hands it could definitely send someone into the finals.  However, the last recipient of America’s Twitter save might go home because of this performance.  It had a lot of sour notes in it, which would make anyone cringe. His stage presence needed a lot of work! At this stage of the game, if you do not have that combination…you are going home! America, send him home! D+

Team Adam’s resident “walking instrument” took the stage and tackled fun.’s “Carry On.” It was the right song at the right time in the competition! There were superb runs and he hit every single note in the song! I hope Nate Ruess was watching this performance! I hope that America picks up the phone or vote online because Will Champlin BELONGS IN THE FINALS! A-

Team Christina’s final member (and the youngest artist in the competition) Jacquie Lee had a lot of ground to cover as her divalicious mentor chose a huge song: Sarah McLachlan’s “Angel.” This song took me back to LeRoy Bell’s heartfelt cover of the song two years ago on X Factor USA. Despite having a couple of rough notes, Jacquie recovered and delivered a performance that gave me chills! Brava, Jacquie, Brava! B+/A-

Cole Vosbury got the best of both worlds as his former coach, CeeLo Green, dropped in to assist with Blake in coaching Cole. Blake chose Garth Brooks’s cover of the Billy Joel classic: “Shameless.” He would make both of these iconic men proud with his cover. It was outstanding from the get-go! Cole, no matter what happens…you have a fan in me for life! A

Tessanne Chin closed the night with a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” The only person on a reality show that performed this song to perfection was American Idol’s Clay Aiken…his performance transformed him into a superstar.  10 years later, this iconic song became a vehicle for Tessanne to become an icon in the recording industry! This performance will go down as one of the show’s best moments! Way to go, Tessanne…you have in future in this business! A+

Tomorrow night, an all-star group of performers including Cassadee Pope, Danielle Bradbury, Michelle Chamuel, The Swon Brothers and Xtina take the stage! Plus, your final three are revealed!
