Last night, the Top Eight guys were revealed!

While fan-favorites Quentin Alexander, Clark Beckham, Nick Fradiani and Rayvon Owen were declared safe and delivered exciting performances, some how the fans were manipulated into voting Daniel Seavey (who has no business being in there in the first place) to the Top Eight.

Hopefully, several of the better female singers made through to the Top Eight girls tonight!

So, which girls performed again for a spot in the Top 12? Read on to find out..

Up first to face the audience and the judges was Tyanna Jones. She picked the perfect song with Michael Jackson’s “Rockin’ Robin.” Tyanna commanded the stage and set the bar extremely high that I am worried that no one could match her performance. A

Joining Tyanna in the Top Eight was another one of my favorites: Loren Lott. I was very unfamiliar with her Michael Jackson that she sang; “I Wanna Be Where You Are.” I loved her vocal control and her high notes were exquisite. I really hope that America votes for her to be in the Top 12. A-

In all honesty, Maddie Walker is a complete bore! She tackled one of MJ’s most iconic songs: “I’ll Be There” and I was totally annoyed with her vocals. Maddie played it too safe and was extremely nervous. D+

After seeing the Top 24 meet with Aretha, Joey Cook had the honor of taking the Fillmore stage for the second time. Joey’s jazzy version of “Shop Around” gave me chills! Her uniqueness will definitely bring her closer to the Top Six (and maybe Final Four). A

Sarina-Joi Crowe had the honor of receiving the good news from J.Lo that she made it to the Top Eight! Her pitch-perfect performance of Smokey Robinson’s “You’ve Really Got A Hold on Me” was a star-making performance and probably one of the best vocals we have heard this season so far! A+

I am so happy that another one of my favorites made it through to the next round: Adanna Duru! She tackled one of my all-time favorite Lionel Richie tracks: “Hello.” I loved her interpretation because it was very simplistic (an accompanying piano) and the power notes were off the change. Brava, Adanna! A

Jax was the second-to-last girl to hit the Fillmore stage! She scatted her way through “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and I loved her rearrangement of this timeless Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell’s duet. I have to disagree with Jennifer and Harry’s comments about the rearrangement….it was bloody fantastic! A-

The last performance of the night belonged to Alexis Gomez. I was extremely worried about her song choice: “I Can’t Help Myself.” This song was totally butchered by Lazaro and company during the controversial American Idol: Season 12. Alexis did her best to redeem the song, but I did not her cover and was the second weakest performer of the night. C

As Alexis Gomez got off the stage, the show said “Goodbye” to Shi Scott, Lovey James, Katherine Winston and Shannon Berthiaume.

Next week, the show returns to Hollywood as The Top 12 are revealed!
