Last night, The Voice: Season 10’s Top 11 took the stage for an intriguing night of performances.

Paxton Ingram, Hannah Huston, and Laith Al-Saadi had their breakout moments while both Alisan Porter and Adam Wakefield continued to prove why they are this season’s frontrunners. Unfortunately for three gentlemen, Nick Hagelin, Owen Danoff and Daniel Passino, their performances translated that they were way out of their league and might be up for tonight’s Instant Save.

Who did you save, America? Who faced off for the Instant Save? Read on to find out!

Before they got down to business, rising country star Thomas Rhett performed his new single: “T-Shirt.” While that was fun, The Voice should have invited several alums to perform.  Fan-favorites Judith Hill, Chris Mann, and Melanie Martinez have released new music. I hope that the NBC singing competition invites their alums back to perform in the future.

As Thomas Rhett left the stage, Carson began to reveal the results. Up first to learn that they were joining the Top 10 were Team Blake’s Mary Sarah (wow!) and Team Christina’s Nick Hagelin (WTF, America?).

Following Carson’s chat with the coaches, we learned that America saved Team Adam’s Laith Al-Saadi and Team Christina’s Alisan Porter (fantastic choices, America!).  Before the results continued, Pharrell joined Hannah Huston and Daniel Passino on stage to perform Lenny Kravitz’s “Let Love Rule.”  I thought Hannah stole the performance, but that high note from Daniel gave me life.

While Pharrell took his seat, we learned that both Hannah Huston and Paxton Ingram will respectively represent Team Pharrell and Team Blake in the Top 10 (great choices, America).  Over the past few seasons, Team Xtina has delivered impeccable performances. From Season Five’s Jackson Medley to Season Eight’s trip to “Hotel California,” Team Xtina does not disappoint. Tonight, Alisan, Bryan and Nick joined their coach for an explosive performance of Sir Paul McCartney’s “Live and Let Die.” Between the haunting dancers and the orchestra, this group performance was EPIC!!!

The final three artists that were saved by America’s votes were Team Adam’s Shalyah Fearing, Team Blake’s Adam Wakefield, and Team Christina’s Bryan Bautista! (Thank goodness you saved them, America!) The two artists that were up for the Instant Save were Team Adam’s Owen Danoff and Team Pharrell’s Daniel Passino.

Daniel kicked off the round by performing Nick Jonas’ “Jealous.” I heard numerous covers of this song, but I liked Daniel’s take on the song. It was very pleasant to my ears. Owen countered that with Cam’s “Burning House.” In all honesty, this was the wrong choice for him and I thought that Owen overstayed his welcome.

My letter grades for the Instant Save performances: Daniel Passino (A) & Owen Danoff (D)

After a close race, America decided to save Team Pharrell’s Daniel Passino! Great choice, America!

Next week, the Top 10 perform!
