Seven years ago, a Manchester, New Hampshire-based band took America’s Got Talent by storm.

Recycled Percussion has grown leaps and bound since they took third place at the end of the fourth season.  They are one of the hottest acts on the Vegas strip as their successful show leapfrogged from venue to venue ending up at Planet Hollywood’s Saxe Theater (right next door to fellow AGT alum Paul Zerdin and headliners Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Lionel Richie).

Hoping to follow them in their successful footsteps are the last 12 Season 11 quarterfinalists. Last night, several acts stepped up to the plate and delivered spectacular performances. Unfortunately, other acts either had a subpar presentation or were either buzzed by Simon Cowell or Howie Mandel.

Which acts were sent through to the semifinals? Who had to be saved by the Dunkin’ Save or the Judges’ Save?

Read on to find out…

After welcoming Olympics legend Michael Phelps to the Dolby Theatre and recapping last night’s performance, host Nick Cannon revealed which acts needed either the Dunkin’ Save or the Judges’ Save to move forward in the competition.  This week’s unlucky acts were Linkin’ Bridge, Malevo, and Ronee Martin! (What the EXPLETIVE is wrong with you, America?)

Unfortunately, NBC 41 Action News made the worst decision by focusing on Kansas City weather, so I had to follow the America’s Got Talent Twitter feed to learn of the results.  I was very disappointed to hear that both Kadan Rockett and his sister, Brooklyn, and Blake Vogt advanced into the Semifinals. Why would America vote for talentless brats over the three superiorly talented acts that were in danger of being eliminated?

Luckily, I was relieved to learn that Grace VanderWaal, Brian Justin Crum, andThe Edgar Family Band were moving on to the next round!

Thank goodness that NBC Action News went back to AGT just as Nick Cannon revealed that Malevo received the Dunkin’ Save! Now, it was time for the Judges’ Save.  It was between Linkin’ Bridge and Ronee Martin.  Mel B kicked off the vote and chose Linkin’ Bridge. Howie also chose Linkin’ Bridge and Heidi chose Ronee. With less than a minute to go in the broadcast, Simon decided Linkin’ Bridge to move forward to the next round.

Next week, the Season 11 semifinals begin!
