Calling all 80s babies and 90s kids! It’s time for you to run Olmec’s temple!

Los Angeles-based upcoming video platform Quibi is reviving one of Nickelodeon’s iconic hits: Legends of the Hidden Temple.  Jake’s Take exclusively received news that Legends casting producers are waiting to cast the latest Red Jaguars, Blue Barracudas, Orange Iguanas, Green Monkeys, Purple Parrots, and Silver Snakes.

Casting the Next Generation of ‘Legends’

Fans who are interested in competing in the Legends of the Hidden Temple’s next generation need to follow several rules. First, fans should immediately head to Quibi.com to sign up for casting information and additional information regarding Legends of the Hidden Temple’s relaunch. Next, grab your knee and elbow pads. Quibi and the show producers have promised to adult-size Olmec’s temple, which means that tougher challenges will await the successful duos. It might be safe to say you might need to practice climbing “ledges,” posing like jesters, and of course, assembling a statue of the Silver Monkey.

More importantly, when fans sign up, they must identify their partner. When the Nickelodeon classic aired, casting producers randomly paired up kids on Legends of the Hidden Temple. For the Quibi version, casting would like their candidates to suggest their ideal partner. If you are selected, fans will have the ultimate Legends of the Hidden Temple experience as they rekindle a childhood dream. It is expected that Quibi will shell out more grand prizes for people who successfully run through Olmec’s temple.

Nickelodeon aired original episodes of Legends of the Hidden Temple from September 11, 1993, to November 24, 1995. It ran on the network until 1999. The show starred Kirk Hogg and voice actor Dee Bradley Baker, who voiced the fan-favorite Olmec. Both men returned to the franchise in 2016 when Nickelodeon filmed a live-action television movie based on the franchise. The film also starred Jet Jurgensmeyer, Daniel Cudmore, and Michael Benyaer.

Fans must e-mail their interest by March 13, 2020!
