For the past few weeks, Prince, Space Bunny, and the Queen Cobras have been watching their colleagues perform on The Masked Singer: Season Seven – The Good, the Bad, and the Cuddly stage, and now it is their turn to fight for the final spot. If either Space Bunny or the Queen Cobras won tonight, they would be their group’s only representation in the finale. If Prince won, it would be a clean sweep for Team Good.

Who won the last spot? Which two performers were forced to unmask and join Duff Goldman, Penn and Teller, Jennifer Holliday, and Kirstie Alley in the Season Seven elimination club? Did the panel (Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg) correctly deduce the eliminated celebrities’ true identities?

Once Nick made his classic entrance and introduced the panelists, it was time to get down to business. The Prince kicked off the night. His pre-performance package included Carnegie Hall, a jet plane, and bats. Tonight, he sang Stevie Wonder’s “Sir Duke.” Once again, I think this is 30 Rock and Descendents actor Cheyenne Jackson. Nicole called the performance “extraordinary,” and Robin loved that the Prince showcased his soulful side. Jenny thought it was either AJ McClain or JC Chasez. However, Robin suggested Ben Platt, and Nicole guessed Andrew Rannells.

Team Cuddly’s lone representative, SpaceBunny’s clue package, featured two angels, a crown, a drill bit, and a boombox. He performed “Now That We Found Love” on The Masked Singer stage, and that performance threw me for a loop. I loved Team Cuddly’s admiration for Nick’s jewelry. Jenny guessed Sean Kingston, while Ken thought it was Owen Wilson. Thankfully, Robin brought the train back onto the track and suggested Shaggy.

The Queen Cobras ended the first round of competition. Their pre-performance package included saxophones, a photo of Ariana, Celine, and Mariah, and chili peppers. They sang Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open,” and their harmonies were insane. Nicole called the performance “smoking,” and Robin called them his favorite performers of the season. The trio stated that their favorite musical was The Wiz. Ken stupidly guessed Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Nicki Minaj, and Robin thought it was SWV. However, Nicole was correct and stated that En Vogue were the Queen Cobras.

The Group C finalists had their last showdown performance to Katy Perry’s “Roar.” Both the Prince and the Queen Cobras caught my attention during the performance. Sadly, the Masked Singer panel and the audience voted to send two performers home. Team Cuddly became the first team eliminated from Season Seven as SpaceBunny was eliminated from the competition. Ken stood by his guess of Owen Wilson; Jenny also doubled down her guess of Sean Kingston. Robin also stood by his guess of Shaggy, and Nicole joined the “Lucky Star” singer in guessing Shaggy! Nicole, Robin, and I were correct…SHAGGY WAS THE SPACEBUNNY!

Team Good was a clean sweep as the Prince headed to the Grand Finale. Sadly, Team Bad’s turn was to be eliminated from the competition. Ken stood by his nonsensical guess of the “Bang Bang” trio. Nicole and Jenny doubled down their guesses of En Vogue and Robin choose SWV. The ladies and I were right, EN VOGUE WERE THE QUEEN COBRAS!

In two weeks, The Masked Singer crowns its seventh winner!
