New York City fitness lovers gathered in downtown Manhattan’s Serafina Tribeca on October 19, for the very first Fall into Fitness Benefit.  HyPR Media’s Fall into Fitness celebrated the best fitness, health, wellness, and athletics that the Big Apple had to offer.

After guests walked the red carpet, they were treated to some of Serafina Tribeca’s delicacies. From the porcini mushroom flan with gorgonzola glaze and walnuts and the artichoke alla romana to the assorted irresistible tramezzini sandwiches, guests grabbed the delicious appetizers so fast that waiters had to hastefully run into the kitchen to replenish the table.

While attendees were waiting for the servers to return, several bartenders offered them four exclusive cocktails that were created for the event. Cleverly titled Kendra Blackberry Daiquiri, Monte Mango Spritz, Spicy Bea, and HyPR Colada, each of these drinks were infused with Brinley Gold Shipwreck Rums.  Caribbean, coconut, mango, and spiced were the four flavored rums that were mixed into the cocktails.  Guests also had the options of drinking three brands of Seravino wine: Under the Tuscan Sun, Chianti Riserva Docg, and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva.

In addition to the Serafina Tribeca’s delicious cuisine and sipping on excellent cocktails, guests had the chance to participate in a silent auction. The silent auction items ranged included a five-class pack from Sweat Yoga and an hour private riding lesson from Turtle Island Equestrians, who was one of the non-profits that will receive a portion of the proceeds from last night’s event. Also, guests could bid on high profile prizes including a two-night stay at the Frederick Hotel, and an authentic autographed football from New York Jets defensive end, Muhammad Wilkerson.

As the evening went on, several models strutted around the Serafina Tribeca event space as they wore NYC swimsuit designer MIRAME’s “beach-to-bistro” swimwear.  In addition to the MIRAME clothed models, Tina Manchise, one of Sheila Kelley S Factor’s professional pole fitness instructors demonstrated her skills that entertained the crowd as she danced to Sia’s “Chandelier.”

At the end of the evening, attendees received a swag bag that included health and fitness related items so that the guests could continue their journey on becoming a healthier person.
