Alicia’s fifth studio album is an incredible R&B album that will make listeners feel like they are attending a music master class. The Grammy Winner did an incredible job recruiting A-list talent including John Legend, Darkchild, Babyface and Bruno Mars into helping her co-write and co-produce this album and she held her own against Maxwell during their impeccable duet “Fire We Make.” This is her finest album and I strongly believe that Girl on Fire will be nominated for multiple awards next year. If there is a group that you need to keep both your ears and eyes on during 2013, it is Mime Game. This quartet dropped its debut today and it is one of the best EPs of the year. You could tell that Mime Game left all of their hearts and soul in the recording studio and music lovers should be impressed with all of the elements that are sprinkled throughout the album. Overall, this three-track EP is a fun listen and the band has a bright future ahead. A+

My Life by 50 Cent, Eminem & Adam Levine
50 Cent has been on a roll with his batch of singles. As a music lover, I appreciate these kinds of collaborations because it’s the best of both worlds. You have both 50 Cent and Eminem at their finest form while Adam Levine’s sultry vocals bring this song to a new level. A-

“Scream and Shout” is an incredible dance track that features superb beats from will.i.am and a sexy solo from the X Factor mentor. This track is a perfect club song and I have a feeling that this song will be featured in many DJs’ set lists during Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve parties. A
