Pioneer by The Band Perry

The Band Perry’s sophomore album is filled with a mix of hard-core country rock songs and soft ballads that show off the Perry family’s various talents.  From the trio’s superb harmonization to their brilliant lyrics that they have sprinkled throughout the album, Pioneer is a country album that has strong potential to win several major awards in the future.   A-

Blindly, Lonely, Lovely by Josh Krajcik

X Factor USA: Season One finalist Josh Krajcik finally dropped his debut album.  Josh shined with each song that he sang and his production team successfully merged the Blues/R&B world with the rock world.  Keep an ear out for the excellent song arrangements that are peppered throughout the album.    I strongly believe that Josh is not a one-hit wonder and he has a great career ahead of him.  B+

Artist to Watch: Arabella Jones

This week’s artist is the lovely Arabella Jones.   The 17-year-old Houston native has a darling voice that will make music lovers fall in love with her intriguing vocals.   In addition, Arabella is a fantastic arranger that perfectly weaves in her passion for country music.    I strongly predict that Arabella will be at the forefront of the next generation of country artists.
