Last night, the first set of America’s Got Talent: Season 11 semifinalists took the Dolby Theatre stage for their shot to appear in the finals!

Several acts such as the Edgar Family Band, Jon Dorenbos, Malevo, and Musicality Vocal Group stepped up to the plate and gave some of their personal best performances of the season, while frontrunners such as Blake Vogt, Grace VanderWaal, and Laura Bretan felt the pressure of the semifinals and failed to deliver a memorable performance.

Which acts immediately advanced to the Season 11 finale? Which of the remaining acts needed either the Dunkin’ Save or the Judges (Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel)’ Save?  Read on to find out!

After recapping the night, host Nick Cannon revealed the acts up for the second to last Dunkin’ Save of the season.  Up for this week’s Dunkin’ Save and Judges’ Save are Edgar, Laura Bretan, and Tape Face!  As the three acts went backstage to await the news, Nick revealed that Grace VanderWaal, Sal Valentinetti, and Jon Dorenbos made it to the finale. In all honesty, I wish that Musicality and Malevo should have had Grace’s spot.

The final three acts (Edgar, Laura Bretan, and Tape Face) made their way to the Dolby Theatre stage. Nick revealed that just 200 votes separated the first and second place votes. America got it right and saved Tape Face! Next, it was the Judges’ turn to save an act. Heidi went with Laura, while Mel B selected her Golden Buzzer act (Laura). Howie decided to go with Edgar, but Simon believed that Laura would raise her game and voted her into the finale.

The judges also revealed that their Wild Card that will be competing next week will be The Passing Zone.

Next week, the final set of semifinalists square off for the final five slots!
