Group B is back! Oscar-nominated actor and boxer Mickey Rourke gave the Baby Alien, Crocodile, Seahorse, Serpent, and Whatchamacallit Masks a break when he withdrew from the competition.

However, there was nowhere for the remaining Group B performers to hide. Tonight, the five masked performers faced off for a spot in the Group B finals. Which performers stepped up their game? Did the panelists (Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke) correctly deduce the eliminated performer’s identity? Read on to find out!

Once again, Joel McHale joined the panel, and he even dressed like Nick Cannon. After checking out everyone’s childhood photos, the Serpent Mask took the stage. He sold clothes and did manual labor before finding success. Tonight, he sang Maren Morris’ “The Bones.” I thought that Serpent Mask sounded like Brian McKnight. Nicole loved his vocals, and Joel McHale called the performance – “Amazing.” Tonight’s clues were dedicated to their childhood. The Serpent’s clue was a baby bottle. Jenny thought it was Taye Diggs, while Nicole guessed Brian McKnight.

The Crocodile was the next performer to face the panel. The pink-wearing performer decided to leave his toxic past behind him. He sang Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” and I thought it was Nick Carter. The vocal licks reminded me of his falsetto. The Crocodile’s childhood clue was a pinata, and Nick Cannon broke it to reveal (baby dolphins). Nicole and Robin thought it was Adam Lambert. However, Ken guessed Lenny Kravitz. Joel McHale guessed Harry Connick, Jr.

Baby Alien beamed onto the Masked Singer stage. The performer practiced carrying a 30 lb. backpack at home. He was roasted and is a mentor towards other Baby Aliens. He sang Imagine Dragons’ “It’s Time” and he has a great voice. I am guessing Darius Rucker. Robin called the performance “a huge comeback” and “inspirational.” His childhood clue involved a toy fire truck. Joel McHale guessed Eric Bana, while Nicole Scherzinger thought it was either Sasha Baron Cohen or Jeff Dunham. Ken Jeong thought it was Taylor Lautner. It took Jenny McCarthy’s cane to wrangle Ken in.

The Whatchamacallit Mask loves their hairy situation. They received news that his mom was in bad shape, and she encouraged him to follow their dreams. Tonight, he performed Ludacris and Pharrell Williams’ “Money Maker.” It was a superb performance, but I could not tell who this masked performer was. Their childhood clue involved a book and added that he has a connection with Ken Jeong. Jenny guessed Cam Newton, but Robin Thicke thought it was Terrell Owens. Ken Jeong guessed either Armie Hammer or Kyrie Irving.

The Seahorse Mask ended the Group B playoffs! Both the Sun and Popcorn Masks “voiced” their concerns about the frontrunner before taking the stage. Tonight, she sang Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” and I got chills. She could win this season if she continues to deliver show-stopping performances. Both Robin and Nicole praised her technical skills. For her childhood clue, Nick stabbed a blue balloon to reveal feathers. Robin guessed Bebe Rexha, while Jenny thought it was Camila Cabello. Joel McHale added that it could be Jessica Simpson.

The panel and the superfans voted for Baby Alien to leave the show! Jenny guessed it was Nick Kroll; Ken thought it was Freddie Prinze, Jr. Meanwhile, Robin Thicke thought it was Jason Biggs. Finally, Nicole Scherzinger thought it was Jeff Dunham under the mask. Meanwhile, Joel McHale’s final guess was Eric Bana. It turned out that Baby Alien was Mark Sanchez?! (Wow! That was totally left field!)

In two weeks, the Group C performers will take The Masked Singer: Season Four stage!
