The Masked Singer: Season Seven is halfway over!

We are in the Group B semifinals! Tonight, Miss Teddy, Ringmaster, Hydra, and Armadillo returned to the stage to compete for three spots in the Group B finale. Two singers automatically advanced to the final, but the bottom two celebrities will face off in the season’s second duel. Who were the unlucky performers that had to sing for a spot? Which star was forced to unmask? Did any of the panelists (Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg) correctly deduce the eliminated performer’s true identity? Read on to find out!

After Nick Cannon made their entrance and revealed that the Bottom Two singers would face off in the duel, he welcomed guest panelist comedian and actress Nicole Byer! She told Nick that she would be enlisting with Team Cuddly.

Team Good’s Ringmaster kicked off The Masked Singer. She performed Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass,” and I still thought it was Noah Cyrus. Jenny was blown away by the performance, while Nicole Byer thought it was “super entertaining.” This week, the Men in Black brought a personal Mega Clue, which was a guitar. She was a 90s chick and has been songwriting forever. Ken thought it was Taylor Swift! However, Nicole Byer guessed Alanis Morrissette and Nicole guessed Zara Larsson.

Armadillo was the last member from Team Good to perform tonight. The high kick-loving performer sang “I Fought the Law,” which was a horrible performance. However, I have to give him credit for returning to perform after his fall. The Men in Black brought his Mega Clue: keys to a motorcycle. Nicole S thought it was Gary Busey, while the guest panelist guessed Jay Leno. Jenny thought Armadillo was William H. Macy.

Hydra invaded the Masked Singer stage once again. The Team Bad performers sang ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man.” Nicole Byer called the performance “captivating” and “fun.” The Men in Black’s mega clue contained playing cards with all Jokers, and Jenny guessed Bert and Ernie while Nicole Byer passed. However, Robin thought it was Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Hydra’s celebrity friend was legendary comedian Gilbert Gottfried.

Miss Teddy told Nick that she would “slow things” down with her song choice. She sang Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” and I immediately gravitated to Jennifer Holliday. Robin, Ken, and Nicole stood on the desk for their standing ovations. Miss Teddy’s Mega Clue was “Grammy” and “congrats for the win.” Jenny welcomed Gloria Gaynor, while Nicole Byer thought it was Jennifer Hudson. Nicole Scherzinger thought it was CeCe Winans.

It turned out that both Armadillo and Hydra would enter the survival duel to stay on The Masked Singer. Armadillo started with “Walkin’ The Dog,” and this was one of the worst performances in show history. Hydra sang the Spin Doctors’ “Two Princes. The final results revealed that the singer was forced to unmask was HYDRA!

Robin Thicke’s final guess was South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Jenny doubled-down her Bert and Ernie. Ken thought it was Will Arnett and Zach Galifianakis. Nicole Byer’s final answer was Penn & Teller. It turned out that Nicole was right…it was PENN + TELLER!

Next week, Group B has its final and two performers will be unmasked!
