It is a pleasure to welcome singer-songwriter, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.

Last year, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon became a household name when auditioned for the ABC singing competition: American Idol. During his first audition, he charmed judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan with his powerful original song: “Almost Heaven.” After a unanimous “You’re going to Hollywood,” Jeremiah headed to the legendary entertainment capital of the world on his Idol journey.

Each round, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon won over fans with his phenomenal vocals. He gave viewers chills with his interpretations of “Landslide” and “Make You Feel My Love,” along with “Time After Time,” a masterful duet with Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning performer Cynthia Erivo took him to the Top 14.

Near the home stretch of the competition, Jeremiah had many breakout performances. Goldderby reported that music legend Sir Elton John praised Jeremiah’s bombastic cover of “We All Fall in Love Sometimes” on social media. Next, Jeremiah paid homage to the late Freddie Mercury with his haunting cover of “Who Wants to Live Forever.” Sadly, Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon was sent home at the end of Top Six week, which outraged fans. At the season finale, he teamed up with Katy Perry for a beautiful duet of her 2013 single: “Unconditionally.”

Once American Idol concluded, Jeremiah received an invitation to perform with another amazing voice. MJs’ Big Blog reported that Emmy, Grammy, and Tony-winning actor Ben Platt invited the singer to join him on stage during his San Francisco tour stop. Both of them performed a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love.”

Recently, Jeremiah released his latest single: “Sweet June Nectar” and is in preparation to release his debut studio album. We talked about his American Idol journey, dream collaborations and his upcoming album’s recording process in this episode of The Jake’s Take’s with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.
