Breaking news. Breaking News!

Pop rocker Pink will mentor The Voice: Season 10 Top Eight next week! Longtime host Carson Daly revealed that the “Just Like Fire” singer will help all four coaches (even longtime rival Christina Aguilera)’s remaining artists prepare for the great elimination bloodbath that is coming in a few weeks.

Who will make it see the potential Pink and Xtina catfight next week? Which artists had to fight the Instant Save? Read on to find out.

After catching up with the coaches, Carson Daly began to reveal the significant results. Up first to hear the good news, Team Pharrell’s Hannah Huston. As Hannah hugged her coach, James Bay performed his hit: “Let It Go” (no, it is not the cover to the Disney Oscar-winning song). As Mr. Bay left the stage, Carson revealed that Team Christina’s Bryan Bautista and Team Blake’s Adam Wakefield were moving on to next week’s semi-finals.

While former key advisors Rihanna, Reba and Ryan Tedder delivered great advice, Connor4Real (Andy Samberg) was probably the worst guest advisor of the bunch. I rather had the Top Nine meet with someone like Cher, Lionel or Patti Labelle grace their presence instead of the fake singer. Besides, I also sent out a tweet to The Voice stating that they should have had Chris Mann perform instead of the two As.  As the duo left the stage, Carson revealed that Team Adam’s Laith Al-Saadi and Team Blake’s Mary Sarah were also semifinalists.

The final two artists that were saved by America’s votes were Team Christina’s Alisan Porter (THANK GOD!!!) and Team Adam’s Shalyah Fearing.  This meant that both Paxton Ingram and Nick Hagelin were in the Bottom Two and fought for the Instant Save.

Up first to sing for his life, Team Blake’s Paxton Ingram. He chose the late Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know.” Paxton instantly gave me the chills from the beginning of the song and I strongly believe that he earned that spot in The Voice: Season 10 semifinals. A- Nick tried to counter with Eric Clapton’s “Change the World,” but from the first note…he was way over his head with this track. F

After a really close neck-in-neck race, the public decided to save..PAXTON INGRAM!

Next week, Pink is in the house!
