Two of rap’s top rising acts, City Girls (Yung Miami and JT) and Doja Cat, teamed up for an epic collaboration. Vulture reported on the collaboration on their website, and the ladies delivered a rousing single: “Pussy Talk.” I could see this song’s potential to dominate the streaming playlists and several radio charts. Well done, ladies! B+
“Feels Like Me” by Gin Wigmore
Auckland, New Zealand native, turned United States transplant Gin Wigmore expanded my smile when I listened to her single: “Feels Like Me.” The song feels like a massive hug that listeners needed right now. I hope that “Feels Like Me” receives some love in the music industry because we all need a positive song right about now! A+
“Detroit Flow” by Quin NFM
Austin, Texas native Quin NFM paid homage to Detroit in his latest single: “Detroit Flow.” The 10K Projects rapper delivered a fiery sermon that would impress rap music fans. Quin NFM does have the potential to break into the music industry, and “Detroit Flow” is a powerful single of things to come. B+
