Jake’s Take Podcast: Russell Howard

It is a privilege to welcome comedian and television presenter Russell Howard to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. 

After the global success of writing and starring in 182 episodes of The Russell Howard Show (UK’s Sky) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC) combined, two Netflix specials, Lubricant and Recalibrate (which is currently streaming on the app), over 1 billion views on social media worldwide including 500+ million spawned from six seasons of The Russell Howard Show. He also sold over 250,000 tickets over 100+ sold-out gigs in the United Kingdom and Ireland (including 11 London Palladium gigs).

On October 11, he will launch his new podcast, Wonderbox. Produced by Avalon, Russell described his podcast, Wonderbox, as a place where you keep little reminders of what makes life worth living. Each week, Russell will chat with a special guest about what they would keep in their Wonderbox as they recount the most memorable and funniest moments of their lives. He will begin the series by speaking with the 2023 Emmy Award ‘Outstanding Original Music Lyrics,’ and BRIT Awards ‘Best New Artist’ nominee Sam Ryder and BAFTA Nominated Munya Chawawa. Confirmed guests for future episodes include John Oliver, Jimmy Carr, Taylor Tomlinson, Guz Khan, Jordan Gray, and BAFTA Nominated Rachel Parris.

The Wonderbox podcast launch coincides with his touring the United States East Coast leg of his latest tour. On October 4, the comedian and television personality will start the time in Durham, North Carolina. He is expected to stop in New York City, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, and St. Louis.
