Jake’s Take Podcast: Jack Williams

It is a pleasure to welcome one of my favorite acts from America’s Got Talent (AGT): Season 17, comedian ventriloquist Jack Williams, to The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast

Jack is a stand-up comedian ventriloquist that amassed a TikTok following with 1.2 million followers, and his videos received over 29.9 million likes. He has spent years auditioning for the NBC talent competition, but Jack received the green light to audition in front of the AGT judges (Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum). Jack Williams introduced the world to Foster, making the audience laugh as he switched voices with his puppet. After receiving a standing ovation from all four judges, Jack received a unanimous “Yes” to the next round.

Jack Williams was one of the lucky 55 acts to compete for America’s votes. During his semifinal performance, Jack introduced a new friend, Dale, to the AGT audience as he tried to complete fan-submitted ventriloquist challenges. However, Foster was not having it and interrupted the performance. Foster took his revenge on Jack and made him sound like both Simon and former President Barack Obama; Jack received another standing ovation from the Got Talent creator and was named a Top Five semifinalist.

In this edition of The Jake’s Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Jack Williams went through his entire AGT journey, including receiving praise from Simon and making it into the Top Five. He also revealed how he developed both Foster and Dale as characters and if he would return to compete on an AGT spin-off.
