By: Jacob Elyachar

This morning, Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) co-hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke Charvet, revealed the new couples that will be competing on the show’s seventeenth season!

So without further ado…here are the couples of Season 17!

Bill Nye the Science Guy and Tyne

Bill Nye & Tyne Stecklein: Probably one of the biggest names in this cast is Bill Nye, the Science Guy.   For years, he has taught members of Generation X and Generation Y all about science and it will be interesting to see if he can Cha-Cha-Cha or Tango.  He will be partnered with newcomer Tyne Stecklein.   Ms. Stecklein has an impressive resume as she danced with Michael Jackson, Cher and Christina Aguilera.

Snooki & Sasha Farber: Snooki! What the… Yes, the infamous Reality TV star will be following in the Situation’s footsteps, as she will try to not to stumble while tacking the Foxtrot and the Quickstep.  I feel really sorry for her partner:  the impeccable Sasha Farber.   DWTS fans have been patiently waiting for him to join the pros and he was given this piece of work?  I hope he can make Snooki a dancer or they might be the first ones out…

Bill Engvall & Emma Slater: The Blue Collar Comedy Tour veteran and Lingo host has entertained audiences around the world with his jokes. But can he Samba?  We are going to find out as former troupe member Emma Slater joins the pros just in time to partner with the comedian.

Amber Riley and Derek Hough DWTS

Amber Riley & Derek Hough: ABC’s favorite ballroom is about to be Glee-fifed courtesy of Amber Riley.   The original Glee star will be partnered with four-time champion Derek Hough and hopefully they will please Gleeks everywhere if they do a Paso Doble with Amber’s cover of “4 Minutes.”

Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke: Eight seasons ago, his sister took the ballroom by storm! Now it’s Jack Osbourne’s turn to shine on the ABC ballroom show.  Two-time champ Cheryl Burke is the perfect professional partner to teach Jack the ballroom basics as she did the impossible and turned Rob Kardashian into a true contender for the Mirror Ball Trophy.

Elizabeth Berkley & Val Chmerkovskiy: Oh Saved by the Bell fans! Jessie Spano will be making her ballroom debut this season!  She has a lot to live up to as her former co-star and current X Factor USA host Mario Lopez was the runner-up during the third season.  Hopefully, Val Chmerkovskiy will guide her to ballroom glory!

Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff DWTS

Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff: The High School Musical and One Life to Live star will return to the Mouse House for Dancing’s seventeenth season.  Corbin and his partner, Season 13 champion Karina Smirnoff, might be early frontrunners to take the Season 17 Mirror Ball Trophy.

Christina Millan & Mark Ballas: Singer and The Voice’s Social Media Correspondent will be heading to the dance floor! While she has spent the past three seasons interviewing contestants on the NBC hit show, how will she handle being on the other side and learning new styles each week?  Hopefully, two-time champion Mark Ballas will guide her to victory!

Keyshawn Johnson & Sharna Burgess: Former NFL superstar Keyshawn Johnson will trade touchdowns for Tangos as he collaborates with returning pro Sharna Burgess.

Leah Remini & Tony Dovolani: The King of Queens actress and former The Talk panelist has been in the news lately with her controversial falling out with the Church of Scientology over the whereabouts of her friend, Michele Miscavige.  Hopefully, the outspoken star will shine on the dance floor with her partner All-Stars champion Tony Dovolani.

Brant Daugherty & Peta Murgatroyd: The Pretty Little Liars and Days of Our Lives star will definitely steal hearts as the show’s latest heartthrobs.   He will be partnered with Peta Murgatroyd.
