Last night, nearly a dozen artists caught the attention of four of the biggest names in the music industry (Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira and Usher).

However, during tonight’s episode, it seemed like the ladies were ruling the Blind Auditions.

Who were these incredible ladies? Do they have the chance (and the vocal prowess) to join Dia Frampton, Frenchie Davis, Juliet Simms, Cassadee Pope, Amanda Brown and Tessanne Chin in the Voice’s Ladies Hall of Fame?  Read on to find out…

The show traveled to Nashville to recruit 26-year-old rocker Megan Ruger. She moved from Wisconsin to pursue a musical career in Nashville.  However, after years in Nashville…Megan felt stuck!  She hoped that a coach could move her from neutral to drive.  Her cover of P!nk’s “Just Like A Pill” caught the attention of both Usher and Blake.   The “Yeah” singer stated that she did not “lack in enthusiasm” and wanted to enhance her abilities.  However, because of his love for 80s rock, Megan enlisted with Team Blake.

Former landscaper Morgan Wallen started singing when he was three-years-old. However, when his mom entered him into a contestant while he was eight…they turned down a record deal to focus on a normal childhood that included lots of baseball.  But, when an injury forced him out of the sport…he returned to music.  With his mom and grandma cheering for him in the holding room, Morgan delivered a typical cover of Howie Day’s “Collide.”  The hints of Cobain and his interesting runs caught the attention of both Shakira and Usher.  Morgan decided to go with Usher as he would help him with imperfections.

Emily B left American Falls, Idaho and headed to LA to chase her American dream. After singing in church, her director lead her to becoming a session singer.  She appeared on the soundtracks of Pitch Perfect and The Muppets and also recorded parts on former Voice coach CeeLo Green’s Christmas CD.  However, she almost did make it to the audition.  She was diagnosed with a rare eye syndrome called VHL. With a new outlook on life, Emily B delivered a goosebump endusing cover of Chris Issak’s “Wicked Game.” Her outstanding vibrato caught the attention of Shakira, Blake and Usher.  Emily B became the latest member of Team Shakira!

Tyler, Texas native Stevie Jo grew up in a musical family! Both of his parents were in metal bands. However, they stopped their musical dream to raise Stevie and his siblings. He decided to audition for the show to live his musical dream.  He sang an excellent version of Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” that caught the attention of his favorite coach. Once, the coaches’ chairs turned around Adam stated that Stevie “sounds like Usher and looks like Blake.”

The final artist of the night was Audra McLaughlin. She overcame learning disabilities to pursue her education.  Her parents are her biggest supporters and encouraged the singer-songwriter to go after the “biggest opportunity” in her life. When she sang Bonnie Raitt’s “Angel from Montgomery,” she broke my heart because so much pain in her vocals.  While she caught the attention of all four coaches, she joined Team Blake.
