It’s Day Two of the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con!

DC Comics and DC Entertainment will have a dominating presence throughout Friday with several must-attend panels.  But first, several blockbuster events will also take place on that day.  Without further ado, here are the Friday panels.

Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog Reunion (Hall H) [10 to 11 AM]

Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog is turning 10-years-old this year.  This internet series focused on Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris)’s misadventures as he tackles his archenemy, Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion), while pursuing their love interest Penny (Felicia Day).  Day and Fillion are scheduled to be in attendance along with series co-creators Joss and Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen.

DC Nation (Room 6DE) [11:15 AM to 12:15 PM]

The first DC event of the day belongs to DC Nation. Co-publisher Dan DiDio will moderate a panel that will feature an A-list group of creators such as Batman’s Tom King, Flash’s Joshua Williamson, Harley Quinn and The Jetsons creative team Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner, and The Flintstones’ Mark Russell.  Fans can expect the creators to spoil twists to upcoming storylines.

AMC’s The Walking Dead (Hall H) [12:15 to 1:15 PM]

The Walking Dead will invade Hall H, and it is expected to talk about the series’ new chapter. Four crucial cast members Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, and Negan himself, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, are expected to greet fans at this panel. Also, some of the show’s crucial leaders including executive producer and showrunner Angela Kang and The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman are confirmed to join the group.

The Red Goblin has been defeated, and Flash Thompson is dead. After ten years of Dan Slott’s polarizing run, Secret Empire writer Nick Spencer is ushering Peter Parker, his world famous alter-ego, and huge supporting cast into a new era. Spider-Man editor Nick Lowe and Venom scribe will join Spencer at this panel as they tease the upcoming Spider-Man crossover Spider-Geddon.

DC Batman Family (Room 6DE) [3 to 4 PM]

At the end of Batman, Vol. 3 issue 50, Selina Kyle left Bruce Wayne at the altar. What is next for the Caped Crusader and the Princess of Plunder? How will Batman’s Rogues Gallery be affected by the news? Also, why is Dick Grayson returning to the cape and cowl? Hopefully, the answers will be revealed at this panel!

Scott Snyder Justice League DC Comics

Fans will find out what Scott Snyder has in store for the latest incarnation of the Justice League. (Artwork property of DC Comics)

DC Justice League (Room 6DE) [4:15 to 5:15 PM]

The Source Wall is broken! Three new Justice League teams have assembled to deal with the aftermath of those events.  Who are these teams? An all-star group of creators including Scott Snyder, Adam Glass, Joshua Williamson, James Tynion IV, Bernard Chang, and Liam Sharp might give insight to Justice League, Justice League Mystery, and Justice League Odyssey. Also, it is expected that Scott Snyder will announce a new project at this panel.

World Premiere of The Death of Superman (Ballroom 20) [7 to 9 PM]

The final DC related event of the day belongs to the world premiere of the animated film, the Death of Superman. This animated movie is based on the classic 1990s storyline “The Death of Superman,” where the monstrous Doomsday murdered the Man of Steel. After the film’s premiere, fans will exclusively have the chance to talk to voice actors Jerry O’Connell (Superman), Rebecca Romijn (Lois Lane), Jason O’Mara (Batman), and Christopher Gorman (Flash).  Longtime Superman writer and the film’s screenwriter Peter J. Tomasi is also expected to be in attendance.
