Last night, The Voice: Season Nine Top 11 took the stage!

Some artists (Jordan Smith, Jeffrey Austin, Amy Vachal and Emily Ann Roberts) rose to the occasion and proved themselves worthy to be in this season’s Top Four. However, former frontrunners Barrett Baber and Madi Davis began to lose steam.

Who did America vote for? Which artists had to fight for the Instant Save?

Read on to find out…

Brad Paisley kicked off the night with his latest single: “Country Nation.” As Mr. Paisley sang his latest hit, I noticed a giant video map of America in the background. I liked how the map transformed from a memory album to video from all across the country. The only thing that I wished that made this performance better was the inclusion of Team Blake.  I bet Zach, Emily Ann and Barrett would have enjoyed performing the song with Mr. Paisley.

Amy Vachal (Team Adam)

Braiden Sunshine (Team Gwen)-What the expletive are you thinking, America? He is this season’s Sanjaya Malakar and Daniel Seavey!

Zach Seabaugh (Team Blake)-Another WTF, America!

Jordan Smith (Team Adam)

Madi Davis (Team Pharrell)

Emily Ann Roberts (Team Blake)

Jeffrey Austin (Team Gwen)

Barrett Baber (Team Blake)

Shelby Brown (Team Adam)-That was definitely a great surprise!

This meant that Team Pharrell’s Evan McKeel was forced to face off against Team Gwen’s Korin Bukowski in this week’s Instant Save showdown.

Evan kicked off the night with his interpretation of “Let’s Stay Together.” There is something magical about his voice and he has impeccable showmanship. No matter what the results are…he has a bright future. A-  I thought that Korin dug her own grave when she sang “She Will Be Loved” in front of Adam. Her nerves were definitely showing and despite her growth, it takes one bad song to do you in on this show! F

I got to say that I am very disappointed that Evan McKeel left the show! America, I beg of you…VOTE FOR TALENT—NOT FOR CUTENESS!

Question: What do you think of Evan‘s elimination? Do you think that Braiden or Zach have outstayed their welcome?
