One of the Midwest’s busiest DJs had another exciting month full of multiple gigs.
Ashton returns to Kauffman Stadium
Ashton kicked off May by spinning at the Kansas City Royals-New York Yankees series on May 10 and May 12. Ashton performed at the one-hour pre-game show and both Royals and Yankee fans enjoyed his set.
Congress Middle School
Our favorite DJ surprised the Congress Middle School Cougars when he visited the school on May 17. He was there to help the students celebrate their accomplishment of completing the MAP Testing. However, Ashton was not done just yet….
Rock the Block Fashion Show
Ashton’s second gig of May 17 was at the Rock the Block Fashion Show at the Garment District. It was another successful event as six local designers showed off their summer lines. The Pat Lentz Band also helped Ashton provide the entertainment for the crowd.
Sundays at the Jacobson
Every Sunday, you will find Ashton spinning the hottest tunes at the Jacobson’s patio. Come enjoy their exceptional cocktails, great atmosphere and wonderful Sunday evening vibe. Ashton spins from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ashton + DJ Highnoone+ O’Dowd’s=Amazing Mondays
Missed seeing Ashton at the Jacobson? You can catch Ashton spin with DJ Highnoone on O’Dowd’s rooftop. In addition, Mondays are also Service Industry nights. If you work in the service industry, make sure you bring your card and you will get half-off your tab. Ashton and DJ Highnoone work the crowd from 9 p.m. to Midnight.
DJ Battle at Sol Cantina
Sol Cantina was the scene for the preliminary battles for Battleground 62. Five DJs (Chris Brown, DJ CEO, Cutswell, Reign Supreme and Booga Bangz) emerged victorious on May 22 and they will compete in the next battle.
Milleu
Ashton travels to Overland Park to play at Milleu in One Block South for his first in monthly appearances. Kelly “DJ Domensha” Pickering and Shawn Larson aka MC NO CHAINZ will serve as the opening acts. The fun starts at 9:00 p.m. and ends at 2:00 a.m. tomorrow night.

The Kansas City Art Institute’s Auction
Ashton will spend June 1st entertaining the guests at the Kansas City Art Institute’s Art and Design Auction. The auction will benefit the school’s student scholarship fund.
Gusto
Our favorite DJ will make his triumphant return to Westport as he kicks off an all-new series of Wednesday nights at Gusto. He will be playing June 5, June 19 and June 26. Drink specials are to be determined.
Method
Do you have your First Friday plans in order? Make sure you include a stop at Method. Ashton will back spinning at Method on June 7. Method has some of the most unique clothing lines in their store. In fact, Ashton will be buying a brand new bow tie while he is there.
Tecate Tuesdays at Sol Cantina
Tecate Tuesdays continue to grow as Ashton and DJ Highnoone split DJ duties at Sol Cantina. In addition to seeing both DJs in action, do not forget to grab your $1 Tecates and $1 Tacos.
