DJ Ashton Martin had a very busy March full of multiple gigs and lots of excitement.

March 2013 Highlights

Fake Patty’s Day at Johnny Kaw’s

On March 9, Ashton drove up to Manhattan, Kansas with DJ Highnoone, DJ Parle, DJ Mada and DJ Lazer for a very long 14-hour shift.   While each DJ had their chance to play their tunes, over 5,000 students came and partied throughout the day at one of the Top 10 College Parties in America.

Saint Patrick’s Day Bonanza

Eight days later, Ashton celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in style as he spun at both O’Dowd’s Little Dublin on the Plaza and the Well in Waldo.  Despite the nasty weather, both events were very successful and had high attendance.

Ashton returns to Hotel

Our favorite DJ returned to one of Kansas City’s hottest nightclubs for the first time in six months.  His return also coincided with KU’s victory over Western Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament on March 22.  As being a proud Jayhawk alum, the KU Fight Song was the opening track for a set that attracted a packed house.

The Usual Suspects’ CD Release Party

Ashton joined forces with some of the greatest DJs in Kansas City on a CD that also featured DJ Highnoone, DJ Parle, Mikey Mike, CMAC and Vinyl Richy.   This complication disc appropriately titled The Usual Suspects featured 12-minute mixes from each of the DJs.   All six DJs celebrated the CD Release with a terrific party on March 24.    If you would like a copy of the CD, one of the DJs would be happy to give you a copy.
