Before everyone’s attention turned to Secretary Clinton and Mr. Trump, it was time to see what the next undiscovered artists which coach did they chose to mentor them on their Voice journey.

As night three of the Blind Auditions continue, here is where the teams stand:

Team Adam: Andrew DeMuro, Billy Gilman, Brendan Fletcher, & Riley Elmore

Team Alicia: Christian Cuevas, Dave Moisan, Jason Warrior, Lauren Diaz, & We McDonald

Team Blake: Dan Shafer, Dana Harper, Gabe Broussard, Ethan Tucker, & Sundance Head

Team Miley: Ali Caldwell, Courtnie Ramirez, Darby Walker (preview), Sa’Rayah, & Sophie Urista

Will Adam find any female singers to join his team? Did Miley convince a guy to join her team? Did Blake and Alicia continue to add frontrunners to their respective teams? Read on to find out…

As the coaches arrived at their chairs, Bindi Liebowitz kicked off night! The former choir student who gigs ten times a week and the daughter of two singers tackled Jazmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows.” Her tone reminded me of a hybrid of some of my favorite soulful ladies Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, and LaPorsha Renae. Bindi caught the attention of the veteran coaches. Adam, who turned around first, stated that he loved her vocal choices.  Blake countered that he did not have an artist like Bindi on his team and vowed to protect her. However, she became the first female vocalist on Team Adam this season!

23-year-old El Paso native and NYC children’s entertainer Elia Esparaza tackled Selena’s “Como la Flor.” The last time that this song was performed was in Season Four by Mary Miranda, so Elia had a lot of ground to cover. I liked her vocal delivery, and her high notes were magnificent. She caught the attention of Adam, Blake, and Miley. Adam was impressed that she could sing bilingual and called her audition refreshing. Meanwhile, Blake brought back the odd pairing of artist-coach to woo the El Paso native.  However, Elia became the latest girl member to join Team Adam.

30-year-old Lafayette, Louisiana native Lane Mack was bitten by the music bug since he first listened to his Grammy-nominated uncle. Now with a family of his own, Lane wanted music to be his primary source of income to raise his children. Lane brought a taste of Louisiana blues to his Blind Audition as his amazing vocals caught the attention of Miley Cyrus and he automatically became a member of her team.  I believe that he could be our generation’s Dr. John!

22-year-old Karlee Metzger turned to music when she was bullied in middle and high school because of her weight. While she was in college, she posted her music on YouTube and hoped that a coach would turn around her.  Karlee was the first artist tonight that gave me the chills as she performed Regina Spektor’s “Samson.” I loved her gorgeous tone and the way she expressed the lyrics. Both Blake and Miley turned their chairs around for her; Miley stated that Karlee executed the song well and wanted to break her out of her shell. Meanwhile, Blake was impressed with her full voice and liked the flavor of her vocal riffs. Karlee picked Miley to be her coach because of her carefree spirit.

31-year-old Josh Halverson closed out night three! He started music when he was five-years-old and wanted to pursue music to support his family. He dedicated his cover of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” to his son, Thunderbird. I felt every lyric that Josh sang, and he was the first artist this season to make me cry. I will remember this Blind Audition as this season progresses because I believe he might be the next big folk star to come from The Voice.  Blake, Miley, and Alicia turned around for him. In a stunning move, Josh picked Alicia to be his coach!

Tomorrow night, “The Voice: Season 11” Blind Auditions continue!
