Last night, the first group of quarterfinalists made their Radio City Music Hall debuts!

Some of them soared to the heavens and mesmerized audiences.  Unfortunately, others hit sour notes and received tough love from the show’s judges Howard Stern, Mel B, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.

Only four acts were advanced to the semi-finals!  Did your favorites make it? Read on to find out!

After watching a cute package of what kids thought of the show and an intriguing performance from British singers Labrinth and Emeli Sande, it was time to get down to business.

The first acts to find out their fates were comedian Kevin Downey, Jr., child heavy metal duo Aaralyn and Izzy and escape artist Alexanderia the Great.  Unfortunately, all three acts were not sent through.  Howard stated that Alexanderia should have been sent through to the Semi-Finals because she was amazing.

Hoping to be sent through to the Semi-Finals were Special Head, Fresh Faces and dance crew Hype.   The country decided to not sent forward none of them either.  Howie gave his harshest critique during his time on the show and he said that Special Head blew his chances and Radio City Music Hall swallowed Hype.

The third groups of the night to receive their results were dance group tellAvision, magician Collins Key and the balancing duo KriStef Brothers.   After dragging out the results AGT host Nick Cannon revealed that the KriStef Brothers were the first act to move into the Semi-Finals.

After the KriStef Brothers left the stage, the crowd went wild as magician Collins Key was revealed to be the second act to get through to the Semi-Finals.  Heidi stated that America did the right thing and declared him to be the next David Copperfield.  This left, opera singer Branden James, child prodigy Anna Christine and the American Hitmen.   The third act going through was Branden James.   Howard stated that Branden was in great shape in for this competition.

Anna Christine and the American Hitmen’s fates were to be decided by the judges.  Last night, the judges correctly picked the Top Five acts.  However, Howard stated that Anna Christine would get the last spot, while Howie picked the American Hitmen.  Heidi stated that she loved both acts, but the Project Runway host picked Anna.   Scary Spice followed her gut and chose American Hitmen.   Both Howard and Howie stuck to their guns and brought it to a tie.

This left America to decide who was going to go through…. and the country decided to send through Anna Christine!

Next week, fan-favorites Forte, Angela Hoover and Marty Brown are among the acts that will battle it out for a spot in the Semi-Finals.
