We are nearing the finish line of The Masked Singer’s sophomore season. Over the past few weeks, fans said “Goodbye” to the Ladybug (Kelly Osbourne), the Flower (Patti LaBelle), and the Butterfly (Michelle Williams). Tonight, this season’s final six faced off for tomorrow’s holiday semifinals!

Season one champion T-Pain, joined the panel (Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy). Which costumed performers impressed the former Monster and the group? Who was unmasked tonight? Read on to find out!

After paying tribute to the previously eliminated Masked Singer performers, Nick Cannon made his signature entrance and introduced T-Pain to the audience. The Fox was the first performer to take the stage. He performed Jamie Foxx & T-Pain’s “Blame It,” and it was a stunning vocal from start to finish. I still believe that Fox is Wayne Brady (and not Jamie Foxx, Jenny!) T-Pain loved the performance, while the Fox revealed that he spent “the best weekend of his life with one of the panelists.” The panel guessed Jamie Foxx, Wayne Brady (right on the money, Robin!), and Lenny Kravitz.

I love the Leopard Mask! He always brings it every time he performs on the Masked Singer. In his pre-performance package, he revealed he is a vegan and loves tennis. The Leopard (Seal) sang Fun. and Janelle Monae’s “We Are Young.” Sadly, this was not his best performance. I wished that he picked a better song. Jenny praised the Leopard for his return, while the Leopard revealed that he was presented an award to one of the panelists. The panel guessed Eric Benet and Seal (on the money again, Robin!)

The Thingumajig was nearly sent home last week. However, he decided to step up to the plate and sang John Legend’s “Ordinary People.” He gave me chills with his electric cover of the Oscar-winning Voice’s signature song. T-Pain jokingly called the Masked Singer: Season Two frontrunner, his son! Meanwhile, Nicole Scherzinger continued to fall in love with Thingumajig, and the panel guessed several NBA players or John Legend himself.

Next, the Flamingo returned to the Masked Singer stage and performed Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way.” I loved her rich lower register at the beginning, but once she went to her upper vocal register, I got chills again! In the words of Randy Jackson, “Flamingo Mask is in it to win it!” Ken called the performance numerous adjectives that begin with the letter “S.” The panel guessed that Hillary Duff, Adrienne Bailon (right on, Jenny), and Fantasia.

The Tree has become an underdog performer who is just peaking at the right time! Tonight, she sang Lady Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory,” and I heard Ana Gasteyer’s fantastic voice. Plus, the cheerleaders were two explicit callbacks from some of her projects: Saturday Night Live and Grease Live. T-Pain loved the performance’s spectacle, while the Tree revealed that she shared the stage with one of the panelists. The panelists guessed that either Bebe Neuwirth, Rachael Ray, or Mariah Carey was under the mask.

The Rottweiler was the final performer of the evening. The Masked Singer frontrunner revealed that he is a zen performer that focuses on meditation. He sang Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Love,” and I got goosebumps immediately. As for the performer’s identity, I am sticking by my guess of Chris Daughtry. I hope that he records this cover for Apple Music because it was one of the best performances of the season! Nicole called it the most vulnerable performance of the season. The panel guessed Darren Criss, Jared Leto, and Bow Wow.

After the Masked Singer panel and audience voted, it was time to say goodbye to The Tree! The final guesses were Amy Sedaris (Robin/Nicole), Ana Gasteyer (Jenny),  Bebe Neuwirth (Ken), and Mariah Carey (T-Pain). It turned out that Jenny was right, the Tree was Ana Gasteyer!

Tomorrow night, the final five face off!
