Throughout DC and Marvel Comics’ storied histories, their iconic characters have crossed paths in iconic issues. These sought-after stories have been difficult to find over the years. However, on August 6, 2024, fans can purchase all these iconic stories in two massive omnibuses.

DC Versus Marvel Omnibus

DC Versus Marvel Omnibus is the first to examine several classic tales from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. Fans discovered who won in a fight between Superman and Spider-Man, how the Dark Knight handled Marvel’s grittiest heroes, such as Daredevil and the Punisher, and the historic meeting between the New Teen Titans and the Uncanny X-Men. Several comic book icons, including the legendary Dennis O’Neil, George Perez, Dan Jurgens, Chris Claremont, Walter Simonson, J.M. DeMatteis, Gerry Conway, and John Romita, Jr., brought these adventures to life.

DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus

In 1996, the two powerhouse publishers came together for a historical storyline that mashed up several of their iconic characters and placed them in the Amalgam Universe. Throughout several one-shots, fans met Dark Claw (Batman and Wolverine), Super Soldier (Superman and Captain America), Iron Lantern (Green Lantern and Iron Man), and more. Peter David, Dan Jurgens, Mark Waid, Dave Gibbons, Gary Frank, José Luis García-López, and Bill Sienkiewicz were some of the creators involved in creating the Amalgam Universe. In addition to the numerous one-shots, fans will get the DC Versus Marvel and the DC/Marvel: All-Access four-part mini-series.
